Slaughter & May has made a remarkable hire, adding a longtime Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer partner to its pensions practice. Charles Magoffin, a partner with Freshfields since 2010, will join Slaughter and May as senior counsel in September, according to the firm’s statement.
