Our in-house coverage has evolved beyond focusing solely on Legal to encompass Compliance and Risk. Over time, as our client relationships developed, we were increasingly being asked to support client needs in other areas. This was in part driven by the proliferation in demand of legal skills across functional areas of business and partly due to Fides Search’s positioning at the intersection of risk management and commerciality. As our experience evolved so too did the semantics around what we were being asked to do. We started to think of our role in broader terms and it struck us that we weren’t simply placing a lawyer or a compliance professional, an MLRO, DPO or CoSec – we were helping clients to secure crucial talent in areas which we felt were best described as the “Front Line of Defence”.
Since identifying this unique way of describing our in-house offering, we have developed deeper expertise in functional areas so as to be able to service our clients needs across areas such as Data Privacy, Cyber Security, Digital Transformation, Compliance, Risk and Company Secretarial. Our ability to help source top-rated and diverse talent across such a wide spectrum of expertise is in part a function of our sector-agnostic model as well as our forensic approach to sourcing candidates.
