US firms post double-digit revenue and profit growth in first half of 2025, study shows

The Wells Fargo Legal Speciality Group’s six-month survey found that average revenue rose 11.3% in the first half of 2025 compared to a year ago, with net income rising 14.5%. The data is based on 67 Am Law 100 and 46 Am Law Second Hundred firms that completed the survey.

Law firm Weightmans posts steady growth and doubles down on international ambition

Liverpool-based national law firm, Weightmans, has reported record revenue of £145m for the financial year ending March 31, 2025. The turnover is a 3.4% increase on the previous year, representing four years of consecutive growth, and building on its record-breaking results in 2023/24. The firm also delivered net profit of £15m, the second highest annual total in its history, reflecting another year of sustained, strategic growth.
