Linklaters Hits £2B Revenue, Profit Up 10%

In the fiscal year that concluded on April 30, the company’s revenue reached £2.1 billion ($2.69 billion), a 10% increase over the prior year. Pre-tax profits, profit per partner, and profit per equity partner all increased, according to the report. Pre-tax earnings totalled about £942 million ($1.2 billion), which is 10% more than the year before.

Shoosmiths, Watson Farley Join Double-Digit Revenue Growth Club

In 2023–2024, Shoosmiths profits were £66 million, with PEP coming in at £781,000. Additionally, revenue increased to £206.7 million from £200 million. Watson Farley & Williams, meanwhile, reported a 7.2% rise in profits to £66.8 million. PEP went up 1.5% to £593,000. WFW saw an 11% increase in global income to £238.4 million.

Clyde & Co Latest Firm to Enjoy Double Digit Revenue Uplift

The most recent organization to release impressive numbers is Clyde & Co., which revealed a 10% rise in revenue for the most recent fiscal year. The company said that its revenue for the fiscal year that ended in April 2024 increased to £845 million. Revenue at Clyde & Co. climbed by 20% to £788.6 million last year; however, the company stated at the time that this was mostly because of the merger with BLM.

Clifford Chance Adapts Associate Bonus System in US-Style Shift

According to multiple sources with knowledge of the situation, Clifford Chance has modified its associate bonus calculation process in an effort to “move towards” a pay structure for associate bonuses more akin to that in the United States.

Linklaters pays nearly £2m to top partners

The London-based company’s equity partners, who split the earnings, earned an average of £1.9 million in the year ending at the end of April, an 8% rise from the year before. This came after a record-breaking 10.3% increase in yearly pre-tax profits to £942 million, fueled by robust performance from its US and UK divisions.
